Tulsa vs. Old Dominion Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Monday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Tulsa vs. Old Dominion football game
The Old Dominion Monarchs and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane have had some time off and are no doubt ready to hit the field. Old Dominion and Tulsa will compete for holiday cheer in the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Monday at Brooks Stadium at 2:30 p.m. ET.
The Monarchs made easy work of the Charlotte 49ers three weeks ago and carried off a 56-34 victory. WR Ali Jennings III had a stellar game for Old Dominion as he caught nine passes for three TDs and 252 yards.
Old Dominion's defense was a presence as well, as it collected two interceptions and two fumbles. The picks came courtesy of S Joe Joe Headen and LB Jordan Young.
Meanwhile, it was a close one, but three weeks ago Tulsa sidestepped the SMU Mustangs for a 34-31 win. The Golden Hurricane's WR Josh Johnson filled up the stat sheet, catching six passes for one TD and 117 yards.
The Monarchs are expected to lose this next one by 9.5. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread, however, as they are currently on a five-game streak of ATS wins.
A pair of stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Old Dominion is stumbling into the game with the 224th most thrown interceptions in the nation, having thrown 13 on the season. The Golden Hurricane have experienced some struggles of their own as they are 242nd worst in the nation in thrown interceptions, having thrown 16 on the season. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
