A victory for the TCU Horned Frogs would push them over .500, and after three quarters they have put themselves in a good position to make this happen. It's looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Texas Tech Red Raiders as TCU lead 45-24.
The Horned Frogs have enjoyed the tag-team combination of RB Kendre Miller and RB Zach Evans. The former has rushed for two TDs and 131 yards on six carries, while the latter has rushed for two TDs and 143 yards on 17 carries. This nimble footwork stands out as the first time Miller has hit the 100-yard rushing mark this season.
Texas Tech has been led by RB SaRodorick Thompson, who so far has rushed for two TDs and 105 yards on 16 carries in addition to catching two passes for 79 yards.

What to Know
The TCU Horned Frogs have enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they must head out on the road. TCU and the Texas Tech Red Raiders will face off in a Big 12 battle at 7 p.m. ET Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium. Texas Tech will be strutting in after a victory while the Horned Frogs will be stumbling in from a defeat.
TCU didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 32-27 to the Texas Longhorns last week. TCU's loss came about despite a quality game from RB Zach Evans, who rushed for one TD and 113 yards on 15 carries.
Meanwhile, it was a close one, but last week Texas Tech sidestepped the West Virginia Mountaineers for a 23-20 win. The team ran away with 17 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the win. Texas Tech's RB SaRodorick Thompson filled up the stat sheet, punching in two rushing touchdowns. Thompson had some trouble finding his footing against Texas two weeks ago, so this was a step in the right direction.
Special teams collected 11 points for the Red Raiders. K Jonathan Garibay delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
This next contest is expected to be close, with the Horned Frogs going off at just a 2.5-point favorite. Currently 0-2-1 against the spread, they haven't been a good investment; on the other hand, Texas Tech is 3-1 ATS.
