Toledo vs. Western Michigan: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Toledo vs. Western Michigan football game
If the oddsmakers' predictions hold true, the near future looks bright for Toledo. They will be playing at home against the Western Michigan Broncos at 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Glass Bowl. Toledo should still be feeling good after a big win, while Western Michigan will be looking to get back into the win column.
Toledo were not the first on the board last Saturday, but they got there more often. They managed a 21-17 win over San Jose State.
Toledo's success was spearheaded by the efforts of QB Dequan Finn, who threw for 92 yards and a touchdown, and RB Peny Boone, who rushed for 123 yards. Judge Culpepper was a menace on defense, having laid out the QB twice before the game was over.
Meanwhile, Western Michigan were first on the board, but had to settle for second at the end of their contest against Iowa on Saturday. Western Michigan took a serious blow against Iowa, falling 41-10. Western Michigan were down at the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Looking ahead, Toledo are the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 21 points.
Toledo came up short against Western Michigan in their previous matchup last November, falling 20-14. Will Toledo have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the game or check back on CBS Sports to find out.
