TLSA vs. HOU: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Tulsa vs. Houston football game
Game Recap
On Saturday, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane weren't able to make up for their 41-26 defeat to the Houston Cougars when they last met last October. It was a hard-fought contest, but Tulsa had to settle for a 24-14 loss against Houston.
Houston's only touchdown came from QB Clayton Tune. Houston's CB Damarion Williams got in on the action, too, converting a pick in the second quarter into a touchdown.
The Cougars' defense was a presence, and it collected two interceptions and two fumbles. The picks came courtesy of S Gervarrius Owens and Williams.
Tulsa's loss came about despite a quality game from WR Sam Crawford Jr., who caught ten passes for 102 yards and one TD.
The Golden Hurricane's loss pushes them down to 3-7. The victory bumped the Cougars' record up to an identical 3-7.
The Golden Hurricane will square off against the East Carolina Pirates at noon ET next week at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. The Cougars will be playing at home against the Navy Midshipmen at 7 p.m. ET. Navy is also hoping to continue their momentum after a win on Saturday.
