Texas vs. Utah updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Tuesday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Texas vs. Utah football game
Game Recap
The point spread favored the Utah Utes on Tuesday, but luck did not. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 38-10 walloping at the Texas Longhorns' hands. Utah was down 24-3 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
QB Sam Ehlinger had a stellar game for Texas as he passed for three TDs and 201 yards on 18 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 73 yards. RB Keaontay Ingram also deserves a shout-out for his two TDs.
Texas' defense was a presence as well, as it got past the Utes' offensive line to sack the quarterback five times for a loss of 29 yards. Leading the way was LB Joseph Ossai and his three sacks. Ossai now has five sacks through Week 19.
No one had a big game offensively for the Utes, but they got one touchdown from WR Demari Simpkins.
The Utes' overall record now falls to 11-2. Texas' win brought them up to 7-5. With that, the South Division playoffs come to an end.
