The Abilene Christian Wildcats will hit the road to start this year's campaign against the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.
Looking back to last season, Abilene Christian finished on the wrong side of .500 (5-6), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year. On the other hand, Texas Tech wound up balanced, finishing 6-6.
Abilene Christian is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. They finished last season with a 7-3 record against the spread.
