Texas State vs. Lamar updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Texas State vs. Lamar football game
The Lamar Cardinals will kick their season off against they on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled at 8:00 p.m. ET at UFCU Stadium.
Keep your eye on rushing touchdowns in this one, as these two were some of the most dominant teams in that area last year. Lamar were ranked seventh in the nation last season, with 16 over the course of the season. Texas State did well in that department too, as they were ranked ninth with 29 in total.
Looking back to last season, Lamar finished on the right side of .500 (6-5), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year. Similarly, Texas State also assembled a winning record last year, finishing the season 7-5.
Lamar must know they're fighting an uphill battle given the 31-point spread they're up against.
