Texas A&M vs. Abilene Christian updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday

Abilene Christian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Texas A&M Aggies at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Kyle Field.

Abilene Christian missed an extra point against Tarleton State on Saturday and it came back to haunt them. Abilene Christian and Tarleton State were almost perfectly matched up, but Abilene Christian suffered an agonizing 31-30 defeat.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jordon Vaughn, who rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns. Maverick McIvor also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mississippi State 51-10 at home.

Texas A&M can attribute much of their success to Jaylen Henderson, who rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns.

Tarleton State's win bumped their season record to 8-3 while Abilene Christian's defeat dropped theirs to 5-5.
