TCU vs. Kansas State: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the TCU vs. Kansas State football game
Game Recap
The TCU Horned Frogs had a rough go of it last October when they matched up with the Kansas State Wildcats and had to endure more of the same two weeks ago. The Horned Frogs fell to K-State 21-14. If the result catches you off guard, it should: TCU was far and away the favorite.
K-State QB Will Howard did work as he accumulated 117 passing yards in addition to rushing for one TD and 86 yards. Howard's longest run was for 80 yards in the first quarter. Kansas State's DB AJ Parker got in on the action, too, converting a pick in the third quarter into a touchdown.
No one had a standout game offensively for the Horned Frogs, but they got one touchdown from QB Max Duggan.
TCU's loss pushed them down to 1-2. The victory -- their third in a row -- raised K-State's record to 3-1.
TCU has the luxury of staying at home another week and will welcome the Oklahoma Sooners at noon ET Oct. 24 at Amon G. Carter Stadium. TCU's defense better steel itself: Oklahoma is averaging 42 points per game. K-State will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against the Kansas Jayhawks at noon ET on Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Unlike K-State, Kansas will be limping in after taking a loss.
