TCU vs. Duquesne updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the TCU vs. Duquesne football game
Game Recap
The TCU Horned Frogs ran circles around the Duquesne Dukes on Saturday, and the extra yardage (431 yards vs. 137 yards) paid off. The Horned Frogs claimed a resounding 45-3 victory over Duquesne at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35 to nothing.
RB Kendre Miller was the offensive standout of the contest for TCU, punching in two rushing touchdowns. QB Max Duggan had a good game, too, finishing with two touchdowns.
The game pushed Duquesne down to 0-1 and pulled TCU up to the reverse at 1-0.
TCU will be hunkering down at home again for their matchup against the California Golden Bears at 3:30 p.m. ET Sept. 11 at Amon G. Carter Stadium. If the 10-7 final from the last time they met is any indication, this contest will be decided by the defense. The Dukes are on the road again next Saturday and play against the Ohio Bobcats at 2 p.m. ET Sept. 11 at Peden Stadium. Ohio also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their game this week, so look for the defenses to decide this one.
