Syracuse vs. Boston College Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Friday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Syracuse vs. Boston College football game
The Boston College Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Syracuse Orange at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday at JMA Wireless Dome. Syracuse is crawling into this match hobbled by four consecutive losses, while Boston College will bounce in with four consecutive wins.
Boston College gave up the first points last Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against UConn by a score of 21-14.
Boston College relied on the efforts of Alex Broome, who gained 89 total yards and a touchdown, and Kye Robichaux, who rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Syracuse gave up the first points and the most points on Thursday. They were completely outmatched by Virginia Tech on the road and fell 38-10. Syracuse was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-3.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, the Orange had trouble moving the ball and finished the game with only 137 total yards. They were demolished by their opponents in that department as Virginia Tech gained 528.
Boston College's win bumped their season record to 5-3 while Syracuse's defeat dropped theirs to 4-4.
While only Syracuse took care of their fans the last time they played, neither team managed to cover. Looking ahead, the game is expected to be close, with Syracuse going off as just a 3-point favorite. This contest might not be the best time to bet them against the spread since they've let bettors down the last four times they've played.
Boston College came up short against Syracuse in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, falling 32-23. Can Boston College avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
