Stanford vs. Oregon updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Stanford vs. Oregon football game
Game Recap
It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but the Stanford Cardinal ultimately got the result they were hoping for Saturday with a 31-24 victory over the Oregon Ducks. The squad ran away with 17 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the win.
Stanford QB Tanner McKee was slinging it as he passed for three TDs and 230 yards on 36 attempts.
The losing side was boosted by QB Anthony Brown, who accumulated 186 passing yards in addition to rushing for two TDs and 35 yards. That's the most rushing touchdowns Brown has had all year.
The victory improved the Cardinal's record to 3-2. With their first defeat of the season, Oregon fell to 4-1.
Stanford will take on the Arizona State Sun Devils at 10:30 p.m. ET next Friday at Sun Devil Stadium, Frank Kush Field. Like Stanford, ASU is also coming into the game bolstered by a recent win. Oregon will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against the California Golden Bears at 10:30 p.m. ET in two weeks at Autzen Stadium. These teams are both seeking redemption after dropping matches that they were favored to win.
