The Houston Christian Huskies will start their season against they. Kickoff is scheduled at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Gerald J. Ford Stadium.

SMU is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Nevada. SMU secured a 29-24 W over Nevada on Saturday.

SMU's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. As for Houston Christian, they've got a clean slate. Last year, they wound up perfectly balanced, finishing 5-5.
