San Jose State vs. Western Michigan: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the San Jose State vs. Western Michigan football game
The San Jose State Spartans watched the action from their couches last weekend, but are set to take to the field. They will take on the Western Michigan Broncos at 10:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at home. SJSU is the favorite in this one, with an expected 7-point margin of victory.
The Spartans came up short against the Auburn Tigers two weeks ago, falling 24-16. SJSU's only offensive touchdown came from RB Kairee Robinson.
Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, which contributed ten. K Taren Schive delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
Meanwhile, WMU was expected to have a tough go of it last week, and that's exactly how things played out. Their bruising 34-13 defeat to the Pittsburgh Panthers might stick with them for a while. QB Jack Salopek had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: besides failing to produce a single touchdown, he threw three interceptions with only 5.5 yards per passing attempt.
Both of these teams will be looking to put their recent losses behind them and walk away with a win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
