San Diego State vs. Boise State updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Friday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the San Diego State vs. Boise State football game
Boise State has enjoyed a two-game homestead but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the San Diego State Aztecs at 10:30 p.m. ET on Friday at Snapdragon Stadium. Boise State should still be feeling good after a big win, while San Diego State will be looking to get back into the win column.
Last Saturday, Boise State made easy work of North Dakota and carried off a 42-18 win.
Boise State got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was WR Eric McAlister out in front who picked up 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Those 143 receiving yards set a new season-high mark for McAlister. On the other side of the line, LB Marco Notarainni was a menace on defense and made a total of five tackles.
Meanwhile, San Diego State lost to Oregon State on the road by a decisive 26-9 margin on Saturday. San Diego State was down 19-3 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
While only Boise State took care of their fans the last time they played, both teams pleased bettors by covering the spread. Looking ahead, they shouldn't be too worried about this matchup, as the experts have them favored by seven points. For those looking to play the spread, bear this in mind: they haven't played as the favorites on the road yet this season.
Boise State took their victory against San Diego State in their previous matchup last September by a conclusive 35-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boise State since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
