San Diego State vs. Arizona: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the San Diego State vs. Arizona football game
The San Diego State Aztecs and the Arizona Wildcats are opening their 2022 seasons against one another at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Snapdragon Stadium. San Diego State ended up 12-2 last year and capped things off with a win over the UTSA Roadrunners in the Frisco Bowl, so they are on the hunt for another strong season. On the other hand, coming off of an uninspired 1-11 last-season record, Arizona has set their aspirations higher this season.
A pair of last-season stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Aztecs snagged 17 interceptions last season, the fifth most in the nation. Less enviably, few teams threw more interceptions than Arizona, who was picked off 18 times. If they haven't learned to take better care of the ball in the offseason, they're gonna have a bad time.
San Diego State has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. A win is hardly a sure thing, especially this early in the season, so expect a good game.
