WR Cody White was the offensive standout of the game for the Spartans, as he caught 11 passes for 136 yards and three TDs. QB Brian Lewerke was in the mix, too, providing MSU with three touchdowns.
The win improved MSU's record to 4-6. RU's loss pushes them down to 2-8.
MSU will square off against the Maryland Terrapins at 3:30 p.m. ET next week at Spartan Stadium. As for RU, they will go up against the Penn State Nittany Lions at 3:30 p.m. ET at Beaver Stadium. Given that these teams both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
