Pittsburgh vs. New Hampshire Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Pittsburgh vs. New Hampshire football game
The Pittsburgh Panthers will stay at home another week and welcome the New Hampshire Wildcats at noon ET Sept. 25 at Heinz Field. The Wildcats will need to watch out since Pitt has now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
It was all tied up 27-27 at halftime, but the Panthers were not quite the Western Michigan Broncos' equal in the second half when they met last week. Pitt fell in a 44-41 heartbreaker. This was hardly the result they or its fans were betting on, as they were favored by 14.5 points over the Broncos heading into this contest. A silver lining for Pitt was the play of QB Kenny Pickett, who passed for six TDs and 380 yards on 30 attempts in addition to picking up 49 yards on the ground. Near the top of the highlight reel was Pickett's 67-yard TD bomb to WR Jordan Addison in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Wildcats beat the Lafayette Leopards 19-13 last week.
New Hampshire's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Pittsburgh's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll see if New Hampshire can repeat their recent success or if Pitt bounces back and reverse their fortune.
