Oregon vs. UCLA Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Oregon vs. UCLA football game
The UCLA Bruins are 1-3 against the Oregon Ducks since October of 2017, but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Bruins' week off comes to an end as they meet up with Oregon at 3:30 p.m. ET at Autzen Stadium. UCLA knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully the Ducks like a good challenge.
Two weeks ago, UCLA's offense rose to the challenge against an Utah defense that boasted an average of only 14.4 points allowed. They walked away with a 42-32 victory over the Utah Utes. UCLA's RB Zach Charbonnet did his thing and rushed for one TD and 198 yards on 22 carries.
Meanwhile, when you finish with 224 more yards than your opponent like Oregon did two weeks ago, a favorable outcome is almost sure to follow. They were the clear victors by a 49-22 margin over the Arizona Wildcats. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Ducks had established a 49-16 advantage. Their QB Bo Nix was on fire, accumulating 265 passing yards in addition to rushing for three TDs and 70 yards.
Oregon's defense was a presence as well, as it collected one interception and three fumbles. DB Jahlil Florence picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown.
The Bruins are expected to lose this next one by 6. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread, however, as they are currently on a three-game streak of ATS wins.
Their wins bumped UCLA to 6-0 and the Ducks to 5-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
