Ole Miss vs. Georgia Tech: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Ole Miss vs. Georgia Tech football game
Georgia Tech haven't yet left their home-field this season, but they'll have to hit the road on Saturday. They will challenge the Ole Miss Rebels at 7:30 p.m. ET at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Georgia Tech humbled SC State with a 48-13 smackdown. Georgia Tech pushed the score to 45-13 by the end of the third, a deficit SC State had no chance of recovering from.
Georgia Tech's win was the culmination of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from QB Haynes King, who threw for 290 yards and four touchdowns on 29 attempts. RB Trey Cooley was another key contributor, rushing for 93 yards and punched in a rushing score plus a receiving touchdown.
Meanwhile, Ole Miss strolled past Tulane with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 37-20. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ole Miss.
QB Jaxson Dart looked spectacular while leading his team to the win, throwing for 267 yards and two touchdowns on 27 attempts. TE Michael Trigg also helped out by posting a receiving touchdown.
Georgia Tech will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with an even 6-6 record against the spread.
Georgia Tech was pulverized by Ole Miss 42-0 in their previous matchup last September. Can Georgia Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
