Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State football game
The Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma State Cowboys are set to square off in a Big 12 matchup at 7:30 p.m. ET Nov. 19 at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. If the nothing to nothing final from the last time they met is any indication, this matchup will be decided by the defense.
Oklahoma was close but no cigar last week as they fell 23-20 to the West Virginia Mountaineers. QB Dillon Gabriel had a pretty forgettable game, passing for only 190 yards on 28 attempts.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma State didn't have too much breathing room in their contest with the Iowa State Cyclones last week, but they still walked away with a 20-14 victory. The Cowboys' WR John Paul Richardson filled up the stat sheet, catching three passes for one TD and 90 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Richardson's 83-yard TD reception in the second quarter.
Oklahoma State's defense was a force to be reckoned with, as it collected three interceptions and two fumbles. Those interceptions were spread across their defensive unit.
Oklahoma is the favorite in this one, with an expected 7.5-point margin of victory. Their home turf has been no bettor's paradise, though, as they've failed to beat the spread in three of their five home games.
Oklahoma is now 5-5 while the Cowboys sit at 7-3. A couple offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Sooners enter the game with 221.4 rushing yards per game on average, good for 13th best in the nation. Oklahoma State has displayed some offensive firepower of their own as they come into the matchup boasting the 20th most passing yards per game in the nation at 284.6.
