Ohio vs. Bowling Green updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Ohio vs. Bowling Green football game
Game Recap
The Bowling Green Falcons weren't able to make up for their loss to the Ohio Bobcats from their previous meeting last November. Bowling Green took a serious blow against Ohio Saturday, falling 52-10. The Falcons haven't found any success against Ohio since Nov. 4 of 2015, this defeat making it five in a row.
RB De'Montre Tuggle was a one-man wrecking crew for Ohio, rushing for three TDs and 185 yards on 15 carries. One of the most memorable plays of the contest was Tuggle's 70-yard touchdown rush in the first quarter. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget RB Julian Ross, who went all the way with a kickoff return for touchdown in the first quarter?
Ohio's defense was a force to be reckoned with, as it collected three interceptions and two fumbles. Those interceptions were spread across their defensive unit.
The losing side was boosted by RB Andrew Clair, who picked up 118 yards on the ground on 15 carries.
The defeat dropped the Falcons' record to 0-4. The victory makes it two in a row for the Bobcats and bumps their record up to 2-1.
Bowling Green will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Summa Field at InfoCision Stadium at 2 p.m. ET next week. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece. Ohio will stay at home against the Buffalo Bulls at 3:30 p.m. ET Dec. 5 at Peden Stadium. Buffalo has averaged 49 points over the course of their past four games, so Ohio might be in for a challenge.
