Ohio State vs. Indiana updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Ohio State vs. Indiana football game
After two games on the road, the Ohio State Buckeyes are heading back home. The Buckeyes and the Indiana Hoosiers will face off in a Big Ten battle at noon ET on Saturday at Ohio Stadium. OSU has a defense that allows only 15.78 points per game, so IU's offense will have their work cut out for them.
It was all tied up 7-7 at the half for OSU and the Northwestern Wildcats last week, but OSU stepped up in the second half for a 21-7 victory. It was another big night for OSU's RB Miyan Williams, who rushed for two TDs and 111 yards on 26 carries.
Meanwhile, the oddsmakers predicted a rough matchup for the Hoosiers last week, and boy were they were right. Things couldn't have gone much worse for them as they lost 45-14 to the Penn State Nittany Lions. IU was down 31-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. No one had a standout game offensively for IU, but they got scores from TE AJ Barner, RB Jaylin Lucas, and QB Jack Tuttle.
OSU is the favorite in this one, with an expected 40-point (!) margin of victory. There could be an interesting gambling play in this one, as they have done quite well against the spread at home this season while IU have struggled against the spread on the road.
OSU was totally in charge when the two teams previously met in October of last year, breezing past the Hoosiers 54-7 on the road. Will the Buckeyes repeat their success, or does IU have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
