As If the night couldn't get worse for Notre Dame, defensive end and team captain Kapron Lewis-Moore went down with an apparent knee injury with 1:06 left in the second quarter.
Lewis-Moore got up on his own and walked off the field with trainers by his side. Lewis-Moore is third on the team in tackles for loss (8.5) and sacks (6).
Alabama marched down field for a 71-yard scoring drive to take a 28-0 lead into halftime.
