North Carolina vs. Wofford updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the North Carolina vs. Wofford football game
The Wofford Terriers are on the road again on Saturday and play against the North Carolina Tar Heels at noon ET Nov. 20 at Kenan Memorial Stadium. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W.'
Wofford fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Citadel Bulldogs last week but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 45-44.
Meanwhile, UNC also fell in overtime action last Thursday. They lost to the Pittsburgh Panthers 30-23. The Tar Heels were their own worst enemy and cost themselves 100 yards in penalties. Despite the loss, they had strong showings from WR Antoine Green, who caught three passes for two TDs and 108 yards, and QB Sam Howell, who passed for two TDs and 296 yards on 33 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown. Near the top of the highlight reel was Howell's 76-yard TD bomb to Green in the second quarter.
The Terriers are now 1-9 while UNC sits at 5-5. Wofford is 0-8 after losses this season, UNC 4-0.
