The North Carolina Tar Heels made easy work of the Florida A&M Rattlers on Saturday and carried off a 56-24 victory.
UNC's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 28 first-half points. The Rattlers weren't quite able to keep up, and the score was 28-14 heading into the break. The offense for the Tar Heels continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 28 points to put the game away. The contest brought them to 1-0 and dropped Florida A&M to a mirror-image 0-1.
UNC will square off against the Appalachian State Mountaineers at noon ET on Saturday at Kidd Brewer Stadium. The game is expected to be a close one, with UNC going off at just a 2-point favorite. As for Florida A&M, they will face off against the Jackson State Tigers at 3 p.m. ET next Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium.
