No. 25 Army tops Air Force without QB Bryson Dailey, 20-3; Black Knights keep undefeated season alive
Army made progress in its march toward the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy
Army beat rival Air Force to continue its FBS-best 12-game win streak. The Black Knights were far less efficient than usual on offense, converting just 4 of 12 third-down attempts -- they entered the week second nationally completing 55% of their third downs -- but their defense stepped up, holding the Falcons to just 196 total yards while forcing a trio of interceptions.
The Black Knights (8-0) keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive with the victory -- and get a notch in their march toward the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy. They'll have much bigger tests down the stretch with games against North Texas, Notre Dame, UTSA and Navy ahead.
Air Force (1-7) hasn't been the same since losing to Army last November. The Falcons entered that week at 8-0 and ranked No, 25 nationally. They've now lost 12 straight regular season games against FBS competition in the time since.
Final: No. 21 Army 20, Air Force 3

Air Force Picked Again
Another trip to Army territory, another turnover for Air Force. For the second straight possession, a more than 11-play drive ended with an Falcons interception deep in Black Knights territory. This time it was Josh Johnson who was picked off by Max DiDomenico with less than two minutes remaining. The INT likely seals the game for Army, which is up 13-3.
Army Forces Key INT
Air Force's woes in Army territory continued early in the fourth quarter as Quentin Hayes was intercepted facing a 3rd-and-11 from Army's 22-yard line. It's the first turnover of the game by either team.
End of 3rd: Army 13, Air Force 3
Air Force is driving at the end of the third quarter and will face a key third down attempt in Army territory to start the fourth. The Falcons are 4-for-10 on the day on third down.
Army 13, Air Force 3
Army's rushing attack opened the second half with a series of big plays. The Black Knights ran nine straight plays, each of them going for at least five yards, to open the scoring in the third quarter. Army averaged just 2.3 yards per carry in the first half. It averaged 7.2 yards per carry on its opening third quarter scoring drive.
Half: Army 6, Air Force 3
Defense dominated the first half of this game with the two teams combining for just 201 total yards and 6 of 16 on third down. Army QB Dewayne Coleman, in for sick star Bryson Daily, has looked solid. He's 5-for-8 with 48 yards passing. But Air Force has limited him to just 16 yards rushing on 12 carries. Whatever team can figure out a way to finish in the red zone in the second half will likely win the game.
Army 6, Air Force 3
The Falcons have begun to create some offensive momentum. After three straight three-and-outs to open the game, Air Force has posted back-to-back drives of 30-plus yards. The latest drive, which spanned 49 yards, resulted in a field goal and Air Force's first points of the game.
