After a disappointing 10 points in their last contest, the NC State Wolfpack made sure to put some points up on the board against the Furman Paladins on Saturday. NC State took their game at home with ease, bagging a 45-7 win over Furman. The team accrued 38 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.
The Wolfpack's victory brought them up to 2-1. Furman's defeat pushed them down to an identical 2-1.
NC State will be hunkering down at home again for their matchup against the Clemson Tigers at 3:30 p.m. ET Sept. 25 at Carter-Finley Stadium. NC State is 0-1 after wins this year, Clemson 1-0. The Paladins will be playing at home against the Mercer Bears at 2 p.m. ET next Saturday. Mercer is hoping for a better outcome this contest after a 48-14 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
