Missouri vs. Middle Tennessee Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Missouri vs. Middle Tenn. football game
The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Missouri Tigers at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field.
It's hard to win when you can't find the end zone and score seven fewer touchdowns than the other team, a fact Middle Tennessee found out the hard way on Saturday. It's hard to picture a worse defeat than the 56-7 bruising that they suffered against Alabama on Saturday. The last quarter was a mere formality, since it was already 42-7 by the end of the third quarter.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, the Blue Raiders were pretty good at collecting yards the wrong way and finished the game with 84 penalty yards. They were demolished by their opponents in that department as Alabama only lost 19.
Meanwhile, Missouri took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They took down South Dakota 35-10.
Missouri got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was RB Cody Schrader out in front who rushed for 138 yards and punched in a rushing TD. QB Brady Cook also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Middle Tennessee will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with a 6-7 record against the spread.
While the Blue Raiders is hoping for a better result this time, the Tigers is hoping to keep the momentum going. Check CBS Sports after the match to see if Middle Tennessee succeed or if Missouri can keep it going.
