Missouri vs. Kansas State updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Missouri vs. Kansas State football game
The Missouri Tigers will be playing at home against the Kansas State Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Missouri didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Middle Tennessee, but they still walked away with a 23-19 victory.
Missouri can attribute much of their success to QB Brady Cook, who threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns on 19 attempts, and RB Nathaniel Peat, who rushed for 51 yards. Peat got a big chunk of his yards on one 49-yard play. WR Luther Burden III made another meaningful contribution, racking up an impressive 117 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Kansas State took their matchup at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 42-13 victory over Troy. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Kansas State had established an 18 point advantage.
QB Will Howard looked spectacular while leading his team to the win, throwing for 250 yards and three touchdowns on 32 attempts. WR Phillip Brooks was another key contributor, posting 94 yards for a touchdown plus a rushing score.
Missouri will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with a 7-5 record against the spread.
There's no need to mince words: Missouri lost to Kansas State in their previous matchup back in September of 2022, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 40-12. Will Missouri have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the matchup or check back on CBS Sports to find out.
