Minnesota vs. Miami (OH) updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Minnesota vs. Miami (OH) football game
The Miami (OH) RedHawks are on the road again on Saturday and play against the Minnesota Golden Gophers at noon ET Sept. 11 at TCF Bank Stadium. Miami (OH) will be seeking to avenge the 26-3 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played Sept. 15 of 2018.
The afternoon started off rough for the RedHawks last week, and it ended that way, too. They were pulverized by the Cincinnati Bearcats 49-14. Miami (OH) was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 35 to nothing. One thing holding Miami (OH) back was the mediocre play of QB AJ Mayer, who did not have his best game: he passed for only 109 yards on 28 attempts.
Meanwhile, Minnesota came up short against the Ohio State Buckeyes last Thursday, falling 45-31. RB Mohamed Ibrahim put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for two TDs and 163 yards on 30 carries. Ibrahim's longest run was for 56 yards in the second quarter.
Both teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses last week. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
