Michigan vs. Penn State updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Michigan vs. Penn State football game
Game Recap
The Penn State Nittany Lions won the last time they faced the Michigan Wolverines, and things went their way Saturday, too. Penn State walked away with a 27-17 victory. The win was some much needed relief for them as it spelled the end of their five-game losing streak.
RB Keyvone Lee had only a few touches last week, but he got the ball a lot more this time and made it count. Lee and QB Sean Clifford were among the main playmakers for the Nittany Lions as the former rushed for one TD and 134 yards on 22 carries and the latter accumulated 163 passing yards in addition to rushing for one TD and 73 yards.
The losing side was boosted by RB Hassan Haskins, who rushed for two TDs and 101 yards on 17 carries.
The victory improved Penn State's record to 1-5. The loss dropped Michigan's record to 2-4.
Penn State will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to SHI Stadium at noon ET next week. Michigan has the luxury of staying at home another week and will welcome the Maryland Terrapins at 3:30 p.m. ET Dec. 5 at Michigan Stadium. Maryland also suffered a recent defeat, falling 27-11 to the Indiana Hoosiers Saturday.
