Michigan vs. Indiana Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Michigan vs. Indiana football game
Game Recap
You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday. They made easy work of the Indiana Hoosiers and carried off a 29-7 victory. For Michigan, this is just revenge for the 38-21 loss they suffered against the Hoosiers the last time they faced one another on Nov. 7 of last year.
It was another big night for Michigan's RB Hassan Haskins, who rushed for one TD and 168 yards on 27 carries. Haskins' longest run was for 62 yards in the second quarter. TE Luke Schoonmaker was in the mix, too, providing Michigan with two touchdowns.
Special teams collected 11 points for Michigan. K Jake Moody delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
IU's only offensive touchdown came from RB Chris Childers.
The Wolverines' win brought them up to 8-1. The Hoosiers have fallen quite a ways from their 6-2 record from last season and are now 2-7.
Michigan will square off against the Penn State Nittany Lions at noon ET next Saturday at Beaver Stadium. Those two teams have allowed few points on average (Michigan 16, Penn State 16.67), so any points scored will be well earned. As for IU, they will face off against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at noon ET next Saturday at Memorial Stadium. Neither IU nor RU could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
