Miami (FL) vs. Louisville Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game

3rd Quarter Report

After a tough defeat on the road their last time out, Miami (FL) looks much better today on their home field. They have jumped out to a 28-23 lead against Louisville. Miami (FL)'s offense has been firing on all cylinders thus far, outscoring their total from last Saturday with time still left to play.

If Miami (FL) keeps playing like this, they'll bump their record up to 6-4 in no time. On the other hand, Louisville will have to make due with a 9-1 record unless they turn things around (and fast).

Preview

Louisville has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Miami (FL) Hurricanes at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium. Miami (FL) took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Louisville, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Louisville beat Virginia 31-24.

Isaac Guerendo was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Guerendo's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards. Jack Plummer also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Meanwhile, Miami (FL) came up short against Florida State on Saturday and fell 27-20. Miami (FL) has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jacolby George, who picked up 153 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Emory Williams was another key contributor, throwing for 175 yards and two touchdowns.

Louisville has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 9-1 record. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.09 points. As for Miami (FL), their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

While only Louisville took care of their fans the last time they played, neither team managed to cover. Looking ahead, Louisville is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by a single point. For those looking to play the spread, take note: they are a solid 6-2-1 against the spread when expected to win.

Saturday's contest might be decided on the ground as these two are both standouts in the run game. The Cardinals have been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 189.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like the Hurricanes struggle in that department as they've been averaging 172 per game. It's looking like Saturday's game might have some serious battles in the trenches. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
