Memphis vs. Nicholls updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Memphis vs. Nicholls football game
Game Recap
If there were any doubts why the Memphis Tigers were heavy favorites Saturday, the squad quickly laid those doubts to rest. They made easy work of the Nicholls Colonels on Saturday and carried off a 42-17 win. With the Tigers ahead 29-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
The game brought Memphis to 1-0 and dropped Nicholls to a mirror-image 0-1.
Memphis will take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves at 7 p.m. ET next Saturday at Centennial Bank Stadium. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Memphis and Arkansas State will really light up the scoreboard. The Colonels will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Cajun Field at 7 p.m. ET next Saturday. Like them, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 38-18 to the Texas Longhorns.
