The Memphis Tigers will be playing at home against the Navy Midshipmen at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The two teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Memphis on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 37-3 victory over Arkansas State. The win made it back-to-back wins for Memphis.
Meanwhile, Navy got themselves on the board against Wagner on Saturday, but Wagner never followed suit. Navy took down Wagner 24-0. The success represented a nice turnaround for Navy who in their last game suffered a tough 42-3 loss.
Looking ahead, Memphis shouldn't be too worried about this matchup, as the experts have them favored by 14 points. They finished last season with an even 6-6 record against the spread.
The win improved the Tigers' season record to 2-0.
