Memphis vs. Boise State updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Memphis vs. Boise State football game
The Memphis Tigers will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Boise State Broncos at 4:00 p.m. ET at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Memphis is out to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Last Saturday, Memphis came up short against Missouri and fell 34-27. The loss put an end to Memphis' undefeated season.
Meanwhile, Boise State gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against San Diego State and snuck past 34-31. The overall outcome was to be expected, but Boise State made it more of a game than the oddsmakers had predicted.
Ashton Jeanty was on fire, as he rushed for 205 yards and two touchdowns. Jeanty was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards. It was a true group effort though, as the team also got help from Taylen Green, who threw for 162 yards and a touchdown.
Boise State's win bumped their season record to 2-2 while Memphis' defeat dropped theirs to 3-1.
Looking ahead, Memphis is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 3.5 points.
Saturday's contest might be decided on the ground as these two are among the best in the rush game. The Tigers have been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 157.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like the Broncos struggle in that department as they've been averaging 171 per game. Given each team's dominance, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
