Massachusetts vs. Maine updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Massachusetts vs. Maine football game
This Saturday, the Massachusetts Minutemen are hoping to patch up the holes in a defense that has allowed an average of 45 points per contest. They have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the Maine Black Bears at noon ET Nov. 13 at Warren P. McGuirk Alumni Stadium. The Minutemen are out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
UMass came up short against the Rhode Island Rams last week, falling 35-22. RB Ellis Merriweather put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for one TD and 118 yards on 30 carries.
Meanwhile, Maine didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 22-17 to the Stony Brook Seawolves last week.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Check back to see which squad is able to work their way into the win column.
