Massachusetts vs. Boston College Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Massachusetts vs. Boston College football game
The Massachusetts Minutemen will take on the Boston College Eagles at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at home. BC should still be feeling good after a win, while the Minutemen will be looking to get back in the win column.
The evening started off rough for UMass last week, and it ended that way, too. They were pulverized by the Pittsburgh Panthers 51-7. UMass was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 23 to nothing. Their only offensive touchdown came on a rush from QB Tyler Lytle.
Meanwhile, BC got themselves on the board against the Colgate Raiders last week, but Colgate never followed suit. The Eagles put a hurting on the Raiders at home to the tune of 51 to nothing. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27 to nothing. QB Phil Jurkovec had a stellar game for BC as he passed for three TDs and 332 yards on 27 attempts in addition to picking up 61 yards on the ground. Near the top of the highlight reel was Jurkovec's 51-yard TD bomb to TE Trae Barry in the second quarter.
The Minutemen found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 55-21 punch to the gut against BC when the teams previously met three seasons ago. Maybe UMass will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the game and check back on CBS Sports for all the details.
