Marshall vs. Old Dominion updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Marshall vs. Old Dominion football game
Old Dominion has enjoyed a three-game homestead but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Marshall Thundering Herd at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. Old Dominion might want some stickum for this match since the team gave up five turnovers one Saturday.
Last Saturday, Old Dominion's game was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. It was a tight match that could have gone either way, but they made off with a 10-9 victory over Texas A&M-Commerce.
Meanwhile, Marshall extended their game-winning streak to eight on Saturday. They walked away with a 24-17 win over Virginia Tech.
Rasheen Ali continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 174 yards and two touchdowns. Ali was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards.
Their wins bumped Old Dominion to 2-2 and Marshall to 3-0.
Old Dominion is hoping to beat the odds on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss.
Old Dominion came up short against Marshall in their previous matchup last November, falling 12-0. Can Old Dominion avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
