Preview
The Arkansas State Red Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Marshall Thundering Herd at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. Arkansas State put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 77-31 victory over Texas State.
Ja'Quez Cross was a one-man wrecking crew for Arkansas State as he rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. Cross was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards. Cedric Hawkins was another major influence, as he rushed for 35 yards and ran in a TD.
Meanwhile, last Saturday just wasn't the day for Marshall's offense. It's going to take some time for them to recover from the 28-0 bruising that South Alabama dished out on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, Marshall's point total in this one was quite the letdown.
