LSU already has four blowout wins this season, but why stop there? Barring a freak comeback, they will be celebrating another huge win in the locker room very soon.

1st Quarter Report
Only three more quarters stand between LSU and the victory they were favored to collect coming into this evening. Sitting on a score of 14-7, they have looked like the better team, but there's still three more quarters to play.
If LSU keeps playing like this, they'll bump their record up to 7-3 in no time. On the other hand, Georgia State will have to make due with a 6-4 record unless they turn things around.
Preview
If the oddsmakers' predictions hold true, the near future looks bright for LSU. They will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Georgia State Panthers at 8:00 p.m. ET at Tiger Stadium. LSU will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Saturday, LSU strolled past Florida with points to spare, taking the game 52-35.
It was another big night for Jayden Daniels, who rushed for 234 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 372 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per attempt. Daniels really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run. Malik Nabers also helped out as he racked up 132 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, the point spread may have favored Georgia State last Saturday, but the final result did not. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-14 to App. State, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Georgia State has not had much luck with App. State recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
The Panthers were plagued by a slow offense and finished the game with only 3.3 yards per play. They were smoked by their opponents in that department as App. State advanced 8.5.
LSU's victory lifted them to 7-3 while Georgia State's defeat dropped them down to 6-4.
As mentioned, LSU is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 31.5 points. For those looking to play the spread, take note: they are a solid 4-1 against the spread when playing as the favorites at home.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's matchup: The Tigers have been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 223.8 rushing yards per game (they're ranked fourth in rushing yards per game overall). However, it's not like the Panthers struggle in that department as they've been averaging 181.4 per game. It's looking like Saturday's contest might have some serious battles in the trenches.
