LSU vs. Arkansas updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the LSU vs. Arkansas football game
Game Recap
It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but the Arkansas Razorbacks ultimately got the result they were hoping for on Saturday with a 16-13 victory over the LSU Tigers. That's two games in a row now that Arkansas have won by three points.
No one had a standout game offensively for the Razorbacks, but they got one touchdown from QB KJ Jefferson. More help came courtesy of LB Hayden Henry, who was good for nine tackles.
Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, which contributed ten. K Cam Little booted in three field goals, the longest a 47-yarder in the first quarter, which ultimately accounted for the difference in the contest.
Nobody on LSU really separated themselves from the pack offensively, but they got scores from WR Jack Bech and QB Garrett Nussmeier.
The win improved the Razorbacks' record to 7-3. The Tigers' overall record fell to 4-6.
Arkansas is on the road again next Saturday and plays against the Alabama Crimson Tide at 3:30 p.m. ET Nov. 20 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Bama's offense will need to be on point to get points against Arkansas' defense, which is averaging only 18.2 points allowed per game. LSU will be hunkering down at home again for their matchup against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks at 9 p.m. ET Nov. 20 at Tiger Stadium. Louisiana-Monroe's offense will be looking to get out and run against a Louisiana-Monroe squad that has given up 35 points on average this season.
