LSU vs. Arkansas updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the LSU vs. Arkansas football game
The LSU Tigers will be playing at home against the Arkansas Razorbacks at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Tiger Stadium. LSU are out to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Last Saturday, LSU humbled Mississippi State with a 41-14 smackdown. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point LSU had established a 27 point advantage.
LSU can attribute much of their success to WR Malik Nabers, who picked up 239 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and QB Jayden Daniels, who rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns. Daniels also wound up with a passer rating of 196.8.
Posting 31 points usually isn't half bad, but definitely wasn't enough in this one. Arkansas fell 38-31 to BYU on Saturday, giving them their first loss of the season.
The losing side was boosted by RB AJ Green, who rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns. Green was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. WR Isaiah Sategna also deserves a mention for his 88-yard punt return for a touchdown in the first quarter.
Looking ahead, LSU are the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 17.5 points. Be careful betting them against the spread as while they're 2-1 ATS overall, they're only 1-4 against Arkansas in their most recent matchups.
LSU came out on top in a nail-biter against Arkansas in their previous matchup last November, sneaking past 13-10. Will LSU repeat their success, or do Arkansas have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
