Louisville vs. Virginia: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Thursday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Louisville vs. Virginia football game
The Louisville Cardinals have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the Virginia Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. ET on November 9th at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. Virginia took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Louisville, who comes in off a win.
Louisville put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They steamrolled past Virginia Tech 34-3 at home. Louisville pushed the score to 27-3 by the end of the third, a deficit Virginia Tech had little chance of recovering from.
Isaac Guerendo went supernova for Louisville, rushing for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Meanwhile, the point spread may have favored Virginia on Saturday, but the final result did not. There's no need to mince words: Virginia lost to Georgia Tech, and Virginia lost bad. The score wound up at 45-17. Virginia has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Louisville's victory was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.9 points. As for Virginia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Louisville strolled past Virginia when the teams last played back in October of 2022 by a score of 34-17. Does Louisville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Virginia turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
