Louisiana vs. Ohio: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Thursday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Louisiana vs. Ohio football game
Game Recap
When you finish with 312 more yards than your opponent like the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns did on Thursday, a favorable outcome is almost sure to follow. They steamrolled past the Ohio Bobcats 49-14 at home. That's another feather in the cap for Louisiana, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
The Ragin' Cajuns' offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 21 points in the first half. Ohio wasn't quite able to keep up, and the score was 21-7 heading into the break. The offense for Louisiana continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 28 points to put the game away.
RB Montrell Johnson had a stellar game for Louisiana as he punched in four rushing touchdowns. WR John Stephens, Jr. was in the mix, too, providing Louisiana with two touchdowns.
A silver lining for the Bobcats was the play of RB O'Shaan Allison, who snatched one receiving TD.
The Ragin' Cajuns' win brought them up to 2-1. Ohio's loss pushed them down to 0-3.
Louisiana will square off against the Georgia Southern Eagles at 6 p.m. ET next week at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. Ohio will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Ryan Field at noon ET next week.
