It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs ultimately got the result they were hoping for Saturday with a 37-34 victory over the UAB Blazers. The win came about thanks to a strong surge after the third quarter to overcome a 31-17 deficit.
The win got Louisiana Tech back to even at 3-3. UAB's loss pushed them down to 4-2.
The Bulldogs will take on the North Texas Mean Green at 7 p.m. ET next week at Apogee Stadium. North Texas is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 52-35 victory over the Middle Tenn. Blue Raiders two weeks ago. UAB will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against North Texas at 3 p.m. ET in two weeks at Legion Field.
