Liberty vs. North Alabama updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Liberty vs. North Alabama football game
Game Recap
A victory for the North Alabama Lions just wasn't in the stars Saturday as the team never even grasped a temporary lead. They have to be aching after a bruising 28-7 loss to the Liberty Flames. North Alabama was down 21 to nothing at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Liberty's RB Joshua Mack was one of the most active players for the squad, picking up 130 yards on the ground on 16 carries. QB Chris Ferguson was nothing to write home about, but finished with three touchdowns.
The Lions' only touchdown came from WR Parker Driggers.
The loss dropped North Alabama back to even at 0-0. The win improved Liberty's record to 2-0.
North Alabama can take some time to mend their wounds since their next contest isn't for a while. They will face the Jacksonville State Gamecocks at Braly Municipal Stadium at 2 p.m. ET in two weeks. As for Liberty, they will face off against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks at noon ET next week at Williams Stadium.
