Kentucky vs. Ole Miss updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday

Game Recap

The Kentucky Wildcats missed a PAT kick in overtime against the Ole Miss Rebels Saturday, and it came back to haunt them. The Wildcats and Ole Miss were almost perfectly matched up, but UK suffered an agonizing 42-41 loss. The defeat was just more heartbreak for UK, who fell 37-34 when the teams previously met in November of 2017.

QB Matt Corral had a stellar game for Ole Miss as he passed for four TDs and 320 yards on 29 attempts in addition to picking up 51 yards on the ground. WR Jonathan Mingo also deserves a shout-out for his two TDs.

QB Terry Wilson put forth a good effort for the losing side as he accumulated 151 passing yards in addition to rushing for three TDs and 129 yards.

UK's overall record fell to 0-1. The Rebels' win brought them up to an identical 0-1.

The Wildcats will stay at home against the Mississippi State Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. ET Oct. 10 at Kroger Field. As for Ole Miss, they will face off against the Alabama Crimson Tide at 6 p.m. ET next week at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field. Keep an eye on the score for this one: Bama also posted a lofty point total in their previous matchup, a 52-24 victory over the Texas A&M Aggies.
