Alabama has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Kentucky Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Kroger Field. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Alabama's game was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They strolled past LSU with points to spare, taking the game 42-28. That's two games straight that Alabama has won by exactly 14 points.
Jalen Milroe had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 155 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Jase McClellan was another key contributor, gaining 105 total yards and a touchdown.
Kentucky can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They put the hurt on Mississippi State with a sharp 24-3 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Kentucky just coasted through the last quarter.
Among those leading the charge was Devin Leary, who threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Ray Davis and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Kentucky's victory.
Alabama's win was their fourth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Kentucky, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
Not only did both teams in this Saturday's match win their last matches, they also took care of their bettors and covered the spread. Looking ahead, Alabama is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 10.5 points. This contest will be their tenth straight as the favorites (so far over this stretch they are 6-3 against the spread).
